The Good Samaritan Senior Citizen’s Home, run by the Good Samaritan Women Society Celebrated its 18th Foundation Day on 1st August 2023 at the Resident of Senior Citizen’s Home Meriema, Kohima with Smti. Tosheli Zhimomi, Director of Social Welfare Department, Nagaland as Special Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Zhimomi lauded Good Samaritan Women Society headed by Founder, Chairperson Good Samaritan Women Society, Neithonuo Liegise, highlighted the brief History of Kohima, Old Age Home and its vision, aims and objectives, criteria for admission of Senior Citizens to Kohima Old Age Home.
Within the span of 18 years since its inception 2005 to 2023, one hundred and one (101) Senior Citizens have been admitted to Senior Citizen’s Home Kohima.
