The Department of Sociology, Nagaland University, Lumami, Zunheboto organized a Two-Day National Level Workshop on Elderly Issues on 15th and 16th October 2025 sponsored by the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE) GoI.
Good Samaritan Women Society participated the Workshop as a Resource person on the theme, Role of Caregivers: Institutional Support and Community Engagement.Representatives of six neighbouring villages, research scholars, and postgraduate students and elders attended the Workshop.
