The state-level observation of the International Day of Older Persons 2025 and commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Senior Citizens’ Association of Nagaland, with the theme “Older Persons Driving Local and Global Action: Our Aspirations, Our Well-Being, Our Right” was held at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima, on October 1, 2025.
The programme was celebrated with shri. Wangpang Konyak Hon’ble Advisor, Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of Nagaland as special guest along with senior citizens and officials.
